OUR STORIES

Hala ,18
Ukraine
I have talked a lot about this experience to everybody who knows me or asked about AIESEC because it is AMAZINGLY unforgettable !!!!!!
MY exchange was to Ukraine the second big country in area after Russia and the second in my heart after Egypt .
The process was too easy that first I read about AIESEC in magazine then I started to search about them because my love for traveling  and making difference in the world  both of them I found in AIESEC was the best choice ever for me I applied online then the interview then the info-session and finally raised on the system to search for the project
I was lucky that I reached  the project I want in very short time finished everything my papers and ticket all this not important as when I landed for the first time on European land alone and didn't expect that I will truly fall in love with it and with her kind people amazing scenes and of course the SNOW that was The  extreme happiness for me beside that now I have a lot of friends all over the world from Mexico - Brazil - Indonesia - china - Australia  and so on so can you imagine living with all this people loving them and respecting their cultures and minds
I really recommend this experience for everybody who really cares about growing up and developing themselves

Poland
It started with a 15-hour long trip, staying in Frankfurt, Germany for transit, then catching the plane to Gdansk, Poland…
I met the other EPs working in my project at Frankfurt airport, and we had a little chat for the first time.
We reached Gdansk after 1 hour and 50 minutes, it was – 5 degrees centigrade, tingling and numbly ears, feeling you are on the edge of slow death! First time to see snow!
On the contrary of other places I have travelled, people in Gdansk were super hospitable, we had small problems of racism there with the old people, but the AIESCERs and the young guys there loved us.
I stayed in a hostel for the whole period, also the people there were kind and clean.
I had problems with food, by the Polish law, chicken should be choked before cutting their heads off, and cattle should be electrocuted! So I had to stick with fish, pastas, pizzas and zapikankas! Plus, I made the guys Egyptian beans and eggplants twice and they loved it!
But the most important part is the blending with different cultures and different minds. I stayed with 4 Chinese, 1 Italian, 1 Tunisian/French, 1 from New Zealand,  a Colombian, and a Mexican!
My project there was "Enjoy My Origin (EmO)", so basically we were making presentations in primary schools that we teach the young fellas our native languages. But that wasn't the problem, they don’t understand ENGLISH! So we asked for help from English teachers in every school, and they welcomed it warmly.
Eventually, I would like to thank AIESEC ZAGAZIG for this great opportunity, please I wanna go back next vacation!
Now, Im back in Egypt with international vision and willing to risk everything to put my town in a better place, because nothing compares to experience varieties in the place you live.

Russia
One year ago, I started my AIESEC journey by an incredible internship to Russia the biggest country in the world. Two months outside the Egyptian box, living in another country with so different mindset, traditions and culture.. discovering it with 18 other interns from different countries who came from Europe, Brazil, India, South Africa..etc looking forward to having the life changing experience. That experience which can't be formed in words, Which you need to live it through every situation happens there surrounded by that unique atmosphere during your internship period .. That experience which is operative enough to change your mindset, character, goals, attitude and then change your whole life. After this internship I have something to be proud of.. Now I have that life changing experience, unforgettable adventures, a lot of precious friendships, and the best memories ever... Can't stop telling people how much is it valuable, wishing that every single person in Zagazig use the opportunity and gain this marvelous experience.
